Our Team

 Tom grew up in the Detroit area, where he went into public service as a  Fire Fighter and Paramedic. Tom has been a Fire Fighter and Paramedic  for over 26 years. Tom became a Michigan licensed builder along with  Rich in 1997. We were able to see several home inspections and witnessed  how POORLY many of them were done. We wanted to do them better, we knew  we could do them better. Tom holds are Associates Degree in Fire Tech  from Schoolcraft and a certificate from Professional Home Inspection  Institute, has countless hours of study with Carson Donlup ASHI courses  and 182 hours and growing of InterNACHI education classes. This is just  some of training Tom has taken and it continues to grow.  Tom is a licensed FAA drone pilot.

  After growing up on the east side of Detroit in a very tight knit  community, Richard moved to a neighborhood in the suburbs. His home was  the first one built in a brand new subdivision.  He watched every home  around him being built from the ground up. This is where his love for  home construction began.  Along with his friend Tom, he became a  Michigan licensed builder in 1997. They ventured into real estate, and  had many property inspections performed for them.  This is when  we discovered how poorly most of those inspections were done.  We knew  one thing, we could do better!  Richard earned a Degree for Home  Inspector from ICS and earned an Associates Degree from OCC  graduating Magna Cum Laude. He is also continuing to further his  education as a proud member of InterNACHI.
